What happened to the ETA? 42 Days? :O
Hey guys,
I just saw someone mention that the delivery ETA on the 6625WD is up to around 48 days. Now, this is the same ETA on the Australia website.
Now I'm wondering if the ETA on my ordered 6625WD has changed?
Or, should I be thinking that my ETA is the 21 days I saw when I ordered?

Re: What happened to the ETA? 42 Days? :O
I would guess that the first run will be limited in size, so those that ordered early will get the first 'batch' and the new delivery date reflects the subsequent 'batches'. Although I could be wrong, and everyone's order is now delayed... Sounds like something only Zepto themselves can clarify.

German website changed to 48 days also.....
Maybe the first supply of units have been sold out and 48 days is the 2nd batch?
The 6224W is still at 20 days.

Yeah,
Hopefully one of the Zepto guys could give us a heads up on whats happening. I hope it is just a batch thing because I'd hate to be in the same boat as the guys who are still waiting on their ASUS G1 laptops here in Australia.
Anyways,

Re: What happened to the ETA? 42 Days? :O
lol, yeah.
I have asked the Zepto contact here in Aus but since we are basically ahead one day. When he sends word he has to wait till Denmark wakes up, posts back to him and he then has to get back to me which seems to be usually pretty late in the afternoon.
So, since I see a few European Zepto people on here. I thought might as well ask here and see if I can wake up to an answer. lol
Anyways, cheers.

While Skyo is sleeping away I can tell you we have had a delay with the manufacturer of the intergrated webcam. We have subsequently bumped up the delivery time significantly on the websites. We dont expect it to take this amount of time but felt it was a better course of action rather than adding say 1 or 2 days . We are trying to get a first batch sent out to satisfy the customers who placed the first orders (inc petrov) .We will have an update in the morning and let the forum know.
