Default Object Dock = anything better?

I don't want to pay for ObjectDock's tabbed system for organizing applications.

Too bad there wasn't somewhere to enter the serial to "unlock" all the features...

Anyway, does anyone have any good ideas on what might be better?

In Windows, you can create any number of taskbars and drag apps to them, or you can create a folder and make a taskbar out of the folder, with links to the apps/shortcuts in the folder showing on the bar.

Or you could try Yahoo or Google widgets, if you want widgets.

Aquadock might be closer to what you're looking for too. Not sure about this. It appears to be freeware/openware, but have never used it.

Y'z Dock, it's free and pretty good. The creator actually got a cease and desist order from Apple but the last version (which is still found throughout the web) works pretty good.
