    Default cannot open short cuts?

    Hi Guys;I can't open my short cuts on my desktop,windows vista OS.

    when i click on any of the shortcuts i have a message;


    (Unable to open this internet short cutthe protocol "http'' does not have
    a registered)

    Have you made any recent changes to your system (new browser install for instance)? My first instinct would be to use system restore to roll back to a time when the shortcuts worked. If that is not an option this may be of help (should work with Vista also)

    What kinda shortcut did you create and where was it linked to before???

    What program should be opening the shortcuts? Are they all websites? What browser do you use?

    Since the OP gives no specs or details as what shortcuts telling them to do that won't do much without even knowing what shortcuts they are talking about or where or where it points to.....
