Re: The Opera Thread!
A new Opera 12 Alpha version is now released. Several major hardware acceleration fixes, and most users are reporting that it's more stable overall. Also, a new opera:cpu page to monitor CPU usage of the opened tabs.

I'll still wait for the official release to update, but it's nice to see things moving.

Re: The Opera Thread!
I've been using Opera as my main browser since 2001, so thanks a lot for trying to spread the word!
One thing I didn't see in the OP was the use of single-key shortcuts, witch I find very useful. Especially 1/2 for tab-switching.

Re: The Opera Thread!
We're getting somre more fleshed-out address bar tweaks in the latest Opera Next build, along with the usual bugfixes: see here for more information and to download.
Definitely
I'm thinking about adding a section on keyboard shortcuts in general, as quite a few people seem to use them in other browsers. It's unfamiliar territory for me, though, since I'm a mouse-reliant person. Thanks for the tip!

Re: The Opera Thread!
One extension I really like is Snap Links. It may have a limited use, but I find it very useful for opening separate tabs for active threads on forums I frequent.

Re: The Opera Thread!
Is there any way to have 2 tabs opened side by side?

re: single key shortcuts,
i don't know about the rest of you, but I find that i'm using the q/a and w/s shortcuts A LOT.
i find the easiest way is to right-click the tab, select "restore" on each tab, then arrange them as you need
or if you only have 2 tabs open, just shift + f6Dell XPS 15 L502x: i7-2760QM | 8GB | Nvidia GT540M (dGPU) + Nvidia GTX 650 Ti (eGPU)| B+RGLED | 750GB | Intel 6230+BT | BD-ROM
