re: NBR Folding@home Team
I'm still not on the list

EDIT: Now I am on the list, but it shows that I only completed 1 WU when I already completed 3 and should have 3.9k points or so. Ahh well.Last edited by too456; 14th December 2011 at 06:15 AM.

re: NBR Folding@home Team
I have a lot more work units to be loaded too. From my understanding there are many servers responsible for sending/recieving work units, so when it updates, it may not recieve all the info from every server to push through the update. So there seems to be a delay. This may be caused because the systems are still catching up from all the down time.
@ganzonomy, you may have more to be loaded, but some of it I think depends on turn around time, and I believe you get more bonus points the faster your system processes and returns the unit. You probably have some better ones sitting in a server ready to be loaded. Also the system may assign based on computer specs. I don't know, are you running your CPU and GPU? and what client?
Anyone know if you only get bonus points if your using a passkey? I really need to set that up if you do. Not sure if the SMP2 client applies to F@H V7
Chief would be killing this if he had all his systems running the same name

Is there any way?

re: NBR Folding@home Team
Thanks, PVT.
So I was curious, and it looks like folding, may cost me $1/day.
I checked the Dominion Appliance Energy Usage Calculator and input it as 400w 24/7 and it looks like my bill may go up $30. Not to bad. 500w 24/7 would be $36/mo added. I have my systems plugged into a strip, which is plugged into a kilowatt meter, so I'll need to check how many watts I'm pulling tonight

re: NBR Folding@home Team
Damn, I need a Passkey! Also, maybe you only had a few small, CUDA should be knocking out some WU. Perhaps you just got connected to a server that had a bunch of priority smaller WU.

Heheheh
yep I'll see how I go DR lol! I may need to use the same username to stay in touch with you guys.
Super stuff guys we're moving up the rankings really quickly!
That would be great if you could link the live stats table on the 1st post somehow.
Folding@home - FAQ-passkey
Where can I get a passkey?
http://fah-web.stanford.edu/cgi-bin/getpasskey.py
Note: The passkey request form is case sensitive.
Hmmm so a passkey for Bonus credits huh hmmmm............
Good work everyone keep it up oles!
For extra credit WU's I'm pretty sure a few pages back DR posted that we can add the
"client-type"
"advanced"
into the GPU slot section and that way it will search for higher WU credit projects to fold.
Cheers.

re: NBR Folding@home Team
Yea, i'm gettin a passkey tonight

Also reborn your running alot more clients so yea, you would be crushing us. My goal is to surpass the old NBR team that seems to have died off in 2008-2009 time frame. I don't even recognize any of the Usernames.
