Re: Mozilla Firefox 7. Troubleshoots
It seems that the F6 shortcut only works in Firefox from versions 4 and up when tabs are on the bottom. If tabs are on top, it won't highlight the address bar at all.

Re: Mozilla Firefox 7. Troubleshoots
I've had a issue with FF freezing since FF6. If I try to click on multiple things at once (open a new tab then trying to click back to my old tab while it loads) It'll freeze up and say that it isn't responding. If I let it sit for 15 seconds or so it goes back to normal but it's really annoying.

Re: Mozilla Firefox 7. Troubleshoots
what do you guys mean by address highlighting? It kinda sounds like you guys are talking about ctrl+l.
ps, don't know why people bother with the search engine toolbar thingy, i just integrate it into my main address bar

Re: Mozilla Firefox 7. Troubleshoots
I am still on FF4. I have some add ons that are only compatible with FF5.
Is there any way to run FF7 while using my add ons?
If not, is it possible and recommended to run FF5? Where do I download FF5 from if that is the case.HDX18T QX9300 |8GB |64GB SSD+ eSATA 2TB HD| W7Ux64

Re: Mozilla Firefox 7. Troubleshoots
=/ I'm way too dependent on my fingerprint reader, which doesn't have an update for the newest FF.
FF 3.6.22 FTW!!!

Re: Mozilla Firefox 7. Troubleshoots
They've changed the font rendering. Again.
Look into gfx.font_rendering.cleartype_params.rendering_mode (via about:config) and set it to one of the following settings:
-1 - Firefox Default
0 - Default
1 - Aliased
2 - GDI Classic
3 - GDI Natural
4 - Natural
5 - Natural Symmetric
The new default is -1. Change it to 0 if you want it to render like in Firefox 6.0. If you want it to look like, say, Firefox 3.6, you'll need to try one of the other settings or outright turn hardware acceleration off in the advanced options.

Re: Mozilla Firefox 7. Troubleshoots
Had washed out fonts in 4,5 & 6, disabling hardware acceleration helped, but close to give up ff. Recently installed 7.0.1 & all looks good, hardware acceleration enabled (w7\amd\ati).
