    Hi,
I've been hitting my head against the wall trying to mod my T500 Bios and can't seem to understand. Could anyone help me?
    The bios is here http://download.lenovo.com/ibmdl/pub...s/6fuj45u6.exe

I went through pages and pages of this thread, I found my bios is similar to the Y450 that was modded here but I really can't figure it out.
I went through the F7731B4C-58A2-4DF4-8980-5645D39ECE58.DASM file but can't find the offset in the .ff file after.

This is the results I got.

    Hey everyone,
Can someone help me unlock dual-IDA on my Vostro 1510?I haven't modded a bios before,so I don't want to risk blowing it up.Also, can someone tell me how to downgrade the BIOS?

Dell systems usually already have a EIST/Speedstep bios option. Just disable that to allow dual-IDA mode to work with an IDA-capable CPU.

No,in my case, when EIST is enabled in the BIOS,I can check/uncheck the "Disable Turbo" option, but when EIST is disabled,"Disable Turbo"is always checked and I can't uncheck it.My CPU supports IDA,so I'm thinking it is the BIOS that is stopping it from working.

Thank you kizwan for the guide, very detailed.

Thank you unclewebb for throttlestop, especially the PROCHOT unlock. For the longest time my laptop would stutter even with a cooled GPU, now I just unlock, no more stuttering in anything! Wonderful.

Sincerely thank you both, I'm really ecstatic if you can't tell. Hope you two have a wonderful day.

Tried again tonight, and I was able to get it to run at a full 2.4 GHz on both cores. Maybe I misread something earlier, I don't know, but it is working. I'll be doing some benchmarking tomorrow or Thursday as an extra verification of the extra speed, but RightMark giving me 2.4 GHz in monitoring-only mode is quite exciting already! After that I'll have to do voltage-limit testing, as well - I've been running at 1.0125V at 11x on the T7500 for years (1.0000 causes restarts), but I doubt that would suffice at 12x. Still, even at 1.2000V and 12X I'm at 80ºC, which I don't consider too bad for stock cooling. And of course, after that, I'll have to read through both the ThrottleStop threads in detail.

Many thanks indeed - I've been wishing I could overclock my CPU for close to two years now, and tried many a PLL strategy without success (even looking to see if I could find one on my own on the motherboard). 200 MHz is definitely a nice bonus.

Now I'm very tempted to buy an X7800 so I can try your unlocked multiplier trick. X9000 prices do seem to have gone through the roof beyond what I could justify, but the X7800 is oh-so-tempting with the promise of 3 GHz+ with a bit of cooling compound improvement.

Truly you have earned the title of Notebook Deity.
I have the same notebook like you, just with a t7100. but for me it doenst work? there is "9.00 x 199.4 = 1795.0". i set the multiplier to 10 but it doesnt works. the multiplier is still 9? what should I do? (speedstep is disabled and ida is enabled)

    Hi,
Great thread Kizwan, I have a Fujitsu Amilo pi 2530 and I need to unlock the EIST Dual IDA feature.I tried following the 1.1a.pdf instruction and I got as far as running the script on my BIOS and I checked out the Results.Text file and it had a few entries in it.I can't really understand what we are supposed to do next after that. Please someone give me some guidelines since i'm a noob at this or a link to a modded amilo 2530 BIOS ver 1.15 would be great as well. Thanks.
