Both ISOs were created as per the instructions in the OP INCLUDING removing the ei.cfg file.

The two images both boot up and install fine in VirtualBox and VMware including installing the VM-specific device drivers/extensions.
I just tested both images on an IBM w500 and a pair of HP G70s. Both DVDs load up just fine from bootup through installation through validation & activation. I tested the installation of Win7 Home Premium and Win7 Ultimate, 32 and 64 bit.

This is in addition to the successful ISO/VM tests from the weekend.

According to some media sources, MS released ISO's, will the first post be updated to have those downloads?

The 90-day trial of Windows 7 Enterprise is also the same code? It should be identical to Windows 7 Ultimate.

To ALL: Every version/download, etc. comes in both 32-bit (aka x86), and 64-bit (aka x64). When you download drivers, they always must be for the type of OS that you chose (32-bit or 64-bit).

Here is the tool to remove ei.cfg much easier.
I looked at the ei.cfg remover and I don't think it will really help in this case since we have to make the isos anyway, so it would look something like this:

    Download
    Make ISO
    Use ei.cfg remover

    or

    Download
    Delete ei.cfg from folder
    Make ISO

So it is essentially the same, so I will leave the guide as it is

    Hey there,
I just used your instructions and made a Win7 Iso. When I tried it in Alcohol 120 and boot, the file opened was sper32.exe. Isn't the setup.exe supposed to be open? Also, when I open sper32.exe, it gives me an error message attached below.

Are you using Windows 7 RC and doing an upgrade install?

If you are you need to follow this guide and it should work:
