How to stretch text in ms word VERTICALLY!!
Hey guys, I really need some help on this one.
I have to print out a bunch of sheets, and I have the text filling the page horizontally, I just need to stretch the text vertically NOT horizontally.
How do I do this?
Thanks

Create text as a picture, that will allow you to stretch it in any direction.
Advent / Uniwill 9617 | T7250 | 2Gb 667 | x3100 | Vista HP
pcspecialist enigma (JHL90) | P8600 | 4GB Kingston HyperX 800CL5 | 320GB | GF9600GT 512Mb | Win7 x64 Pro

Of course!I was gonna suggest a Textbox.
What I wanted to suggest and couldn't remember was actually page orientation..from vertical to horizontal. So no good for you

Re: How to stretch text in ms word VERTICALLY!!
So far none of these solutions have worked, however maybe I am doing it wrong.
Saving as picture and stretching= I can't do this because I have to make about 200 different sheets. If I saved them all and stretched it would take forever.
Textbox= that only seems to make my text box taller, it doesnt actually make the text taller, just the box.
Page properties= I couldnt find anything here.
Thanks for the input, could you guys continue to help me out here...i need to get this done.
Thanks

Re: How to stretch text in ms word VERTICALLY!!
Maybe this will help you:
1. Click the Text tool Button image.
2. Click and drag until the text block (text block: The text area associated with a shape that appears when you click the shape with the text tool or select it with the pointer tool.) is the size you want, and then release the mouse button.
3. Type the text you want.
4. Click the Change Text Direction tool Button image. The text rotates 90° clockwise and appears in a vertical font.
Note To display the Change Text Direction tool, on the Tools menu, click Options, click the Regional tab, and, in the Asian text list, click Show.
5. To add lines of text, simply type.
6. To change the alignment of the text, do one of the following:
* To align the text to the top of the text block, click Align Top Button image.
* To align the text to the bottom of the text block, click Align Bottom Button image.
* To center the text in the text block, click Align Middle Button image.

Re: How to stretch text in ms word VERTICALLY!!
By stretch do you actually mean you want to make the text physically larger, or just print vertically on a page rather than horizontally?

Re: How to stretch text in ms word VERTICALLY!!
Stretch vertically than print. Grab the piece of paper, quarter turn it will now be stretched horizontally! Guaranteed! Sorry I can't really help. But smile it will be figured out.

Re: How to stretch text in ms word VERTICALLY!!
When I say stretch I mean, to actually make the font larger in the vertical direction. Not horizontally.
I need to fill up the paper vertically. Can anyone please help?
