Add text under a line in Word '07
I am typing up a form letter of sort for someone and they want a line to handwrite on and want to have it say "Name of Committee" under the line because the letters with be addressed to various committees. Is this possible? I've seen it done on forms and such but have never done it myself. I looked at format font and I know how to use subscript and stuff but couldn't think of a way to do this. Even if there is something out there that can do this I would download it, and I'll likely never use it again so it better be free.
Thanks!

Shift+-
Just write a line of underscores:
_________________
And then write your Name of Committee underneath it in superscript or something.Notebook - 15" Macbook Pro 2.8Ghz T9600; 512MB nVidia 9600M GT; 4GB DDR3 SDRAM; 256GB Kingston V100 SSD; omg 7 hours battery

You might also want to try InfoPath, which is included with certain versions of office 2007. I have it in my Office 2007 Enterprise edition

budding....yea thats what I mean. But I'm assuming you did that with the underscores and then typing small text on the line below it? I need to be able to do that and then type the line under it, I am using 1.5 or double spacing depends which looks better. and I will look into Infopath, never heard of it.

Re: Add text under a line in Word '07
Something like this?

All i did was create a line of underscores. Then went to the line underneath and typed my text as superscript. Im using no spacing btw.

You do know that you can select the text you want and change its spacing etc. right?
