Default uninstall Windows Mail, Calendar and Contacts

Since I have Outlook 2007 these three are sort of superfluous, so how does one uninstall these three apps. It's not through the typical add remove programs or even windows components. So how IS it done, or CAN it be done?

I really don't think it can be done. Or at least I have never heard of it being done. Someone correct me if I'm wrong.

No, they can't be uninstalled nor removed. The best option is to remove the shortcut from the start menu though

But it can apparently be disabled. LINK

I did it a slightly different way; I identified them to my security software as programs that should not be allowed to run.

did you try with this:
start
control panel
system and maintenance
administrative tools
