Re: How to delete the browsing history completely ?
As far as I know deleting it from the options menu should be enough.
I don't think it hides anything anywhere else.
What did you use to brose your e-mail and what conversation program did you use? If you checked your e-mail thourgh IE then he won't be able to access it. If you used MSN your conversation history could be saved somewhere on the hard drive.Life is a sexually transmitted disease

Re: How to delete the browsing history completely ?
Jokes about aside, you'd want to delete the history, cookies, and temporary internet files. Those're all on the dialog you referred to. Thibault is right about the email. If you used some email client the messages may well be on the hard drive, but if you just used IE and some web based email, you're good.

You could download CCleaner (uninstall it later). It will clean all of that for you. Its a nice little program. I recommend it quite a bit.

Re: How to delete the browsing history completely ?
There's also so info about your history hiding in the index.dat files. I think it's only the urls though, so he wouldn't actually be able to read the text (and I doubt he would know to look there anyway.)
