Re: Mega-reseller Thread!
Yeah this is actually good help. Finding good prices is easy. However, finding reliability is what becomes difficult these days.

O yeah, I hear ya. I need to recheck the resellers on the list though, I haven't done that in a while. I always try and make sure that the sellers on here have good ratings and are reliable.

Re: Mega-reseller Thread!
1 company that owns two stores that sell electrical goods in the UK:
http://www.pcworld.co.uk/
http://www.currys.co.uk/
And a third one I've seen but haven't been in.
http://www.maplin.co.uk/
I haven't tried ordering anything online - but seen the shops around
got my external soundcard from PC-World
(in store)
Germany... know two shops.. but I think they don't sell online - and one site is a disgrace too... you opne it and get a flash add for the company hello????
Edit:
And a reference to local "Amazon" would be good too - there is Amazon.co.uk , Amazon.de its often better to use the local one due to shipping costs
Maybe a note next to Amazon.com

Re: Mega-reseller Thread!
Yeah PC world and Currys are both big retailer stores in the UK so they are definitey reliable (think bestbuy). Maplin is a big online electronics retailer too.

Re: Mega-reseller Thread!
Thanks Detlev. I'm going to need to look them over and see if it's appropriate to add them to the UK list. Do a little research and such. I'll add them asap as soon as I gather my information.
+ Rep of course.

Re: Mega-reseller Thread!
Another idea to add merhants - check out the ones on Amazon.
For Germany:
I ordered (via Amazon) a SSD from www.hoh.de - they had 12.000 odd comments on Amazon of which 1% were negative (happens) 1% neutral and the rest good.
They actually somehow whipped at 7.15pm the same day - it should arrive at my grandfather's today... and he'll post it on to me.

Re: Mega-reseller Thread!
Hey guys
Anyone any idea how much i could expect from a second hand Asus N10J (with the 512mb geforce 9300)?
Selling in the UK, probably to ebayers or maybe a friend who is interested. I think i paid 440 for it in May, its a couple of superficial scratches on the lid but other than that perfect working order.
edit: thats 440 pounds
