    MSI or ASUS:

    What sellers (preferably west coast) let you configure them the way you want?

    All the MSI or ASUS sellers seem to just have "canned" configurations with no choices available, unlike the brands that have online configurators that let you chose the ram, cpu, hdd, etc.

    GenTechPC is on the west coast (near LA) and they offer options to configure Asus and MSI notebooks they sell.

    Can I suggest alphabetizing the list per vendor so as to not give preference to one or the other?

    I don't see how that would work well. I don't really care if one shows up more, this is just a resource guide. I think listing by "brand" works better, it's easier to find what you need.

    Edit: Did you mean Alphabetize the vendors as they are listed? I suppose I could, but they are just put there randomly anyway, so I don't see why it matters.
