Under $1500, preferably around $1300 or less
What country will you be buying this in?
USA
What size notebook do you prefer?
Thin and Light (13 - 14-inch screen)
Mainstream (15 - 16-inch screen)
What brands do you like or dislike?
Like: Dell, HP, ASUS, Sony, Samsung...any reputable PC manufacturer.
Dislike: Apple
Would you consider a refurbished laptop?
No
What are the primary tasks you need this notebook for?
Web Surfing, Office and Productivity Software, Listening to Music, Computer Programming, Video Chat and Conference, Movie Streaming and Viewing, Graphic Intense 3D Gaming
This laptop will be for college, and I will try my best to keep it in good condition throughout my undergraduate degree. I'm not accident-prone, so that won't be a problem, but as for the components on the inside, I'd like them to be somewhat future-proof.
What games will you be playing?
Not sure about the games I will get in the future, but as of right now I have games like FIFA 12, Batman: Arkham City, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3, and others. I also like to run emulators like PCSX2 and DeSmuMe, and would prefer a high framerate. These are not a must, but would be a nice addition.

Hey guys, I want a laptop that's light but still powerful. Which of these three is the best for the money? I'm looking to spend no more than $1500, so the top of the line Series 9 is out of the question.
