Buy or wait

SO im looking to get a new laptop sometime soon as mine needs a new battery and is getting a bit worn in other ways. I'm wondering if i should persue any of these back to school deals or are labor day/black friday ( as far from now as they may be) just a much better option. I don't want to wait, but of course i will for a better product. I was hoping some one could give me some advice =), thanks!

What are you in market for? High end? Mid range? Ultrabook? Gaming?

There will always better stuff in the future lol. It's an eternal wait.

I wouldnt put my money on a CPU/gpu refresh by labor day, but maybe by black Friday. However, there will be decent sales for labor day as there usually are.

Q4 2012/Q1 2013 will be refresh time for Intel CPU.

Like I say. You can wait and wait for the best deal :-) Just get what you can afford now and be happy!

It really depends on how old your current laptop is and if you're willing to put up with it anymore. Like tommytomatoe said, the laptop components are being constantly improved so waiting doesn't make much sense unless you don't really need a new laptop. I don't know anything about the other deals, but the BTS specials look pretty good.
