    Default Aleinware Mx17 Radeon 7970 -VS- MSI GT60 GTX680M

    Greetings folks.
I'm going to buy a gaming rig for about 2000-2200$. For the most part I'll use my laptop as desktop with a connected monitor, keyboard, mouse. That's why the screen is less important as well as keyboard. I'm 100% sure that I want an international warranty, that's why Sager/Clevo is not an option (unfortunately).
I will use any advice both on concept and details. Wanted to mention that I cosider both GPUs almost equal, just a minor preference for Nvidia. I don't want it to be one more 680m VS 7970 topic. This is about overall quality and personal preferences. And sorry for my ugly English, hope this is not much of bother to read, thanks.

    MSI pros:
Matte screen which I love a lot better
    GTX680m
    more free RAM
    smaller size

    MSI cons:
Smaller screen, 17" is a lot better
    Overpriced because of NVIDIA GPU
    Poor design (imho)

    Alienware pros:
    Bigger screen
    little cheaper
overall build quality and desing (imho)
    has mini-display port

    Alienware cons:
GLOSSY SCREEN - really bad reflections on it.
Radeon gives a bit less performance.

MSI GT60, its configuration has a lot more in it. My Alienware's build quality was crap.
