Advice needed. Ultraportable workhorse.

11/13" Acer S7 (ULV, 1080P) - Will not yet available, may not have 2 RAM slots

11.6" HP 2170P (ULV, 48Whr 6-cell, 2 RAM slots)-interesting beast but the screen is 768p

12.5" Dell E6230 - x768 screen

13" Sony SA13 (900P, GT640M) - 12GB RAM, Glossy screen. Will visit the local Sony store and play with it.

14" Toshiba R940 (900P). Has full-power 6/9-cell batteries unlike the T430s.

Trying to stay under 14" if possible. Thank you for the input, I'll definitely consider the 2170P and SA13.

Don't most of the ultrabooks come with 2 RAM slots? In which case, you could purchase 2 x 8GB and end up with 16.

Nope, most ultrabooks come with 1 slot soldered. Also, the majority have mediocre screens. I need a combo of high res + matte + decent viewing angles, as well as 2 upgradeable slots of RAM.

14" Dell E6430 has the 1600x900 option, but I'm guessing it would be too heavy for your needs. There might be the same option as well on 13" E6330. I've tried contacting them but still no response.
