Laptop for College
Currently looking for a laptop for college that have moderate gaming.
The laptop that i am currently looking at:
Sager/Clevo NP6165/W150ER
Lenovo Y580

Right now, I have the U310 and it's wouldn't make for a good gaming laptop. It's a thin, lightweight laptop that focuses on thin and pretty, so it doesn't have the cooling required to handle long gaming sessions. Also, it has no DVD drive. Not to mention that it's 1366*768 only.
The Y580 and the NP6165 are both great laptops for what you want to do with them, though you'll also need to factor in the cost of a Win7 disc with the Sager (no OS by default). Though if you don't plan on buying any newer games, you could check out other notebooks with the Intel HD 4000, such as the T530 you mentioned.

I typically go on long gaming session so decent cooling.
Also i make two typo:
I want to run Battlefield 3 on low (not Battlefield)
Optical drive is of no concern to me

With the Lenovo and Sager you mentioned, you should easily be able to play BF3 at 1080 at medium at the very least, and high without AA.
