Us M17x is dying, need a budget replacement, non-discrete graphics ok

So my M17x has seen better days... Bluray is dead, wireless card doesn't hold a signal anymore, one of the USB ports is broken, and then today the two 260M GTX cards took a dump so I am using the onboard 9400.

I am looking for a really cheap replacement. I require a 17 inch screen, performance at least on par with my 2GHz Q9000 (shouldn't be hard to do), I don't care if it is dual or quad core - and I would like decent graphics but do not require anything crazy. The 9400M is actually holding over well enough so something like an APU or HD 4000 might work.

Basically I want to replace this thing before it dies because it is my only means of entertainment - its my TV (USB tuner), my gaming machine, my entertainment center, etc.

I haven't really been keeping up on developments with notebooks and I know a lot of you on here know about obscure brands or manufacturers that get rebranded and sold at a higher premium. The M17x is a desktop replacement, I don't really move it anywhere so size isn't a problem nor is battery life.
    M17xR1, 500GB 7200RPM, 2x260M GTX, 4GB, Windows 7 Ultimate, Q9000 currently @ stock 2GHz but chip is known to go up to 2.43 stable.

Try one of the clevos at xotic/malibal/etc.

    The NP6165 (3xxxQM, 8GB 1600, 500GB, 1G D5 GT 650M, 1080p 15", HM76) costs under $1300-1400
