    Default Light and powerful

My list first, then the FAQ:
    1. Larger than 13" ( maybe I can live with 13", def not less)
    2. full HD
    3. At least 8GB, 16GB better (I think this kills most Ultrabooks)
    4. Two digital display outputs (no, VGA doesn't count -- this is where the Panasonic B10/B11 is out)
    5. Less than 2kg
    6. Below $1500 (otherwise I would buy the Retina Macbook)
    7. Some form of PCIe expansion would be good. (ExpressCard or Thunderbolt)

    1) What is your budget?

    $1500

    2) What size notebook would you prefer?

14-15" ( maybe I can live with 13", def not less)

    3) I am buying in the USA or Canada

    4) I don't care much about the brand

    5) I am fine with refurbished

    6) Web development, watching movies, light gaming see 8)

    7) Travel and desk both

    8) Games planned: Diablo 3, Torchlight 2

    9) I need at least 4 hours of batery life.

    10) I am OK with buying a laptop by just seeing a review

    11) I run Linux.

    12) Full HD screen, no exceptions. I already have a satisfactory 1600x900 laptop.

    13) I prefer matte but can live with glossy

    14) Looks? I was the happiest with the Panasonic CF-Y5. That's not pretty

    15) Whenever such a thing comes into existence cos I doubt it exists now.

    16) At least two years of life would be good

    17) 64GB is enough. SSD is an absolute must.

    18) Nah, optical drives are past.

I think I know computers fairly well
Past notebooks: Some 10" Toshiba, Dell X1, Panasonic CF-Y5, Lenovo T400s. Current notebooks: Lenovo T420, Sony Vaio P.

The Envy 15 is 5.79 lbs which is a full pound and more above my limit. The Y580 is even heavier.

The Sony S15 however is good an all counts and with the dock (which is required for me for the second HDMI port) comes to $1,479.98. That's below $1500 indeed. Thanks!

Major negative points to Sony for such an anemic dock.
