Get the Dell Inspiron.
HP develops noticeable heating issues due to poor cooling system design, which in India is a horrible horrible thing to deal with...

The Dell also is no cooling expert as I have a M5010 with a nearly fried GPU. The funny thing is I have a cooling pad
The palm rest area gets really warm and the laptop just above the touch pad is HOT!
There is no need to talk about the bottom. The only thing I still haven't seen is fumes which luckily was not the case as my GPU nearly died a few months back. Now I currently have disabled my GPU and am using the display media adapter. I cant even run minesweeper as it required hardware acceleration.
Fill up the form and may be we can guide you into choosing what according to what we know would suit you best.

i lyk playing games... especially racing & first person shooting. i also do some graphics works (3d max,ps etc)... my confsn is whch would i choose... both of them seems to be almost same on paper...
