    That's true. RAM always proves to be the cheapest and easiest after-market upgrade.

    2181 subtract the 3% cash discount and the $50 discount for NBR members.
    So just over two grand.

    But that is a good point. I'll drop it to 8 and then add some later if I need it.

    Lastly, can anyone tell me how to take advantage of the NBR discount on Xoticpc?

    You just need to mention your NBR username when placing your order in the Comments section. They do the rest and send you an updated quote.
