For gaming the M17x is vastly superior. It also has a better build quality and better cooling.

Re: Dell Alienware m17x r4 vs Hp d6-7014nr
Your games are not that demanding, you may be able to work with the HP. However, this is why I would pick the Alienware instead:
First, the AMD 7970 will literally crush the GeForce GT 650M. I play graphics demanding games (Crysis 1-2, Metro 2033, etc) and so I tend to pick the laptops with better video cards.
Second, heat issues. I am not sure about this new model, but I have an older HP and gets hot. The only laptop that I have seen getting hotter than old HP models is the Asus G51. Again, I am not sure about this new model.
Third, reliability. I have never seen an Alienware getting useless over time. When I got my HP (DV9000) in college many other guys got one too (they were going sheep at that time) and within two years all of them just died because of the heat and video card issues. My HP is the only survivor from that group, but I am not the average user either.
Forth, the extras. HDD writing speed, Raid 0 SSDs, build quality, etc.
If you don't see yourself taking advantage of these features then I would get the HP. There is no reason to spend 2k on a machine you won't be fully using. Also, a good cooling fan (I have a Zalman, forgot the model name) can help reduce the heating issues of the HP.
Hope this helps, sorry for the lengthy reply. Good luck.

Re: Dell Alienware m17x r4 vs Hp d6-7014nr
I've owned 2 HPs and 2 Dells. I'd say the higher end Dells > the higher end HPs, in terms of build quality/materials/etc. I don't necessarily know you need a 7970m for your purposes. It sounds like you really want an awesome processor/ram/ssd. One advantage to the M17X R4 is the ease of expanding RAM (4 slots available, 2 of which are easily accessible under the back cover) and 2 hard drive bays (allowing you to have two SSDs).
That said, the R4 is heavier, will haves less battery life, and is more expensive (by a fair margin)Primary: Alienware M17X R4 | Stealth Black | i7-3610QM | 8GB DDR3 1600MHz | HD Radeon 7970m (2GB DDR5) | 64GB mSATA | 256GB Crucial M4 (Bay 0) | 256GB Crucial M4 (Bay 1) | Blu-Ray | Killer Wireless-N 1103 | Bluetooth 4.0 | 1920x1080 WideFHD 60Hz WLED

@xXxPykexXx You got me right thats all I need Proccesor, Ram , Graphics,.. So I should blindly take alienware Right? Also I plan on using it atleeast for 4-6 years Maybe I will upgrade it but am damm sure will not buy a new one.. So Please suggest me which one is better also if you have anyother laptop which suits me then please tell me about it. How's is the new macbook pro 17 inch compared to them?

7970M vs 650M? Just double the power.

Look at the benchmarks:
AMD Radeon HD 7970M - Notebookcheck.net Tech
NVIDIA GeForce GT 650M - Notebookcheck.net Tech
I'm not even talking about the MUCH better build quality and cooling system of the M17x.

Re: Dell Alienware m17x r4 vs Hp d6-7014nr
I think you're comparing apples to oranges here, if you're considering a powerful desktop replacement like an alienware m17x then the other options would be MSI GT70, Asus G75, Sager NP9170/Clevo P170EM or Samsung Series 7 Gamer

Re: Dell Alienware m17x r4 vs Hp d6-7014nr
If you do that, it will quickly surpass the AW in cost. However, what you pay for a comparable Macbook Pro will easily be worth it if you intend to stay in the Mac ecosystem for the long haul. You can easily resell a 3-4 year old MBP for as much as 75% what you got it, if it's still in great condition. Then forward that money to a new unit in the future.
Alienware also has great resale value, but I'm not aware of anybody who's kept their machine nearly as long and got as great a return as a mac.
The problem is... you can easily have those savings just by not buying the mac (the most comparable MBP starts around $2400!!!) to start with. To add to that, Apple will be unveiling their newest line at WWDC in a few weeks, which means you'll either have to wait or get an outdated system.
TL;DR: I strongly advise against this if gaming is your priority.
