Lokking for a new laptop to game on
Before i start, note that the market is quite limited in my country, so i'll be looking more at Brand names and hardware components rather than specific product models.
I've had my eye on an HP DV6, core i7 2670QM 2.2ghz up to 3.1, 6gb ram, Radeon HD 7690M XT (2gb), and Win7 64-bit.
i'm quite worried about overheating problems because it's an HP, and i doubt Acers will be any better when it comes to cooling.
So, what brand do you recommend that isn't notorious for having overheating problems, and how well do i7s perform overall (in regards to heat) in laptops 15.5 inches and above?

Shipping wouldn't be too expensive through Aramex. As for customs, I assumed heavy customs for laptops in Bahrain, when there were actually none. Do ensure you're fully aware of the customs charges in your country first. Alternately, you could pick up a decent ASUS from within your city. Since you DO want this to be a long term investment (for around 3 years as you mentioned), it would be a good pick either way, since they have good cooling for regular gaming.
