Not at all, just surprised you didn't opt for the 900p sweet-spot :-)

It was either an Asus N55 with 900p, 640GB, GT 555M & Sandy Bridge for £800 or Samsung 550P with 768p, 1TB, GT 650M & Ivy Bridge for £600. I went for the latter.

My VAIO was lost due to water damage and I can't go for too long without a laptop so had to order a preconfigured model.
    Samsung 550P5C series:
    Intel Core i5-3210m (@2.5 - 3.1 GHz), 6GB DDR3 RAM (@1600MHz), NVIDIA GT 650M 2GB/Intel HD 4000, Crucial M4 256GB SSD, 1366x768 LED Matte display, Windows 8 Pro 64bit

I highly recommend GMG for cheap PC games (including Steam)

We should, like, protest companies that produce 768p screens. Utter outrage and blasphemy.

There are supply problem with HQ panels at the moment. This should change soon and you'll start to see 1600x900 become the norm.
