You can find some pictures in the Sony subforum here.
Just make sure to pick the 1600x900 Premium Display (standard on the S13A, option on the S13), it is very similar to what has been put on the Sony Vaio Z2 last year (I hesitate saying "the same" as it is 0.2" bigger in Sony's nomenclature, but it is very, very similar in quality). There should be many review of that one available. For example: Review Sony Vaio VPC-Z21Q9E/B Subnotebook - Notebookcheck.net Reviews

Will there be any whitebook companies (XoticPC) making custom Trinity laps? I'm heavily considering the the Clevo W110ER but would love an A10 with a discrete GPU in say an 11.6" package for the longer battery life. I don't know if such an animal would exist.

I love the Clevo's option for a matte screen, SSD, and 8 gigs of RAM but am held back by the 5 hours of battery life/high temps.

I feel like a Trinity w/discrete graphics crossfired in an 11.6" to 13.3" package would be the ultimate balance in battery life/gaming power. It sounds like any Trinity 13.3" or smaller will be a gimped ULV though. Can any confirm that Trinity will/won't be available for whitebook manufacturers? or if there will be a non-ULV 13.3" or smaller Trinity?

Actually, the Clevo doesn't overheat too badly, check this review, you can see that it doesn't heat too terribly, well under 40 degrees Celsius.

Does anyone know how well Autodesk Maya 2012 or 2013 will perform in the rendering process with the Nvidia GeForce GT640m 2GB vRAM non LE? Like the one found on the U2442?

from what ive seen all 4600 trinity laptops are in thicker cases with larger screens..

that totally kills any interest i have in them...

Right. They did that with Llano too. At 35W they should be able to fit it in a 13" especially without a dedicated GPU. I would buy a 13" 1600x900 Trinity laptop in a heartbeat, well as long as it cost less than $700.

How about the HP ProBook 6475b? The "B5P19UT#ABA" has the following specs:

    Screen: 14" (1600x900)
    Processor: AMD A10-4600
    Graphics: Radeon HD 7660G
    OS: Windows 7
Memory: 8 GB from factory (2 slots)
Weight: "Starting at 4.48 lb (2.03 kg) without optical drive; 4.78 lb (2.17 kg) with DVD-ROM drive (weight will vary by configuration)" (The optical drive is in a user-removable expansion bay.)
    Dimensions: 13.31" x 9.11" x 1.34" (33.8 x 23.13 x 3.4 cm)
    Ports: 2 x USB3, 1 x USB2, 1 x USB2/eSATA combo, 1 x VGA, 1 x DisplayPort 1.2, headphone, 1 x FireWire, 1 x 10/100/1000 Ethernet
Price: $829 from HP, maybe a bit cheaper elsewhere
Availability: can order now, est. ship date 7/7 as of 6/22

I don't have any personal experience with the ProBook line. The list price seems a bit steep compared to some of the Ivy Bridge/nVidia laptops listed here, but if it's a real business-grade machine it could be worth it.

I should also mention in passing that a 2 GB GT 650M is now an option for the HP dv4t, although at 4.79lb. (2.17 kg) it's probably too heavy for this list.

wow does anyone have an opinion on the dv4t. i was thinking about the y480 just because of the price, but for $830 you can get an i5 and the 650m

ExcaliberPC says the ASUS Zenbook UX32VD-DB71 will have the Kepler-based GT 620M. Looking at notebookreview charts, it seems to have the same performance as the 2010 ATI 5650M. Metro 2033 in DX9 High Details at 1366x768 averages about 27 FPS on my Acer 3820TG w/ 5650.

The Asus comes with only 4GB RAM, is it soldered in, or can it be replaced?

    And is the HDD replaceable?

I wish there was a 13-14" notebook with 1920x1080, full-powered i7-Quad, and at least a GT 650M. I settled for a 15" MSI GE60 (i7-3610QM GTX 660M), and while it's performance is outstanding for a 5.28lb laptop, it still may be a little to heavy and large for me.
