Re: Thin and Light 11-14 notebooks gaming worth compendium
The Gigabyte does look great, exactly what I'm looking for if it's 650M. Hasn't it been speculated that these notebooks may never be released though, at least not in the US?

Yeah, when I think of notebooks I don't quite think of Gigabyte. They have created many phantomware notebooks, i.e. notebooks that never come to fruition or have a very limited market. That's too bad though because they are usually great in concept.

Has anybody mentioned Vizio's Notebook yet? Hopefully the official specs should be out soon, so we can find out if this was right in predicting Kepler graphics card.
And the design itself looks promising. The seem to be wanting to make the same sort of impression Apple makes
(hopefully without the price thought -_-)

Re: Thin and Light 11-14 notebooks gaming worth compendium
and welcome to the US market, where we like all the way small or all the way standard.
Sincerely I never saw much use for the 14'', a 2'' difference makes sense and you can clearly differentiate, the 14'' is a classic example of people that cant choose and want a compromise that wont fill any need.
I never saw a powerful, portable 14''. And when people start to make something close (Lenovo s430), it may not come out for the NA marketLast edited by Karamazovmm; 2nd June 2012 at 01:40 PM.
