Chk tis thread where there seems to be a pretty decent discussion about warranties.
Is the 2-3 year Sager parts warranty worth it?
Also chk tis post abt warranties.

Re: Sager NP9150 or NP9170
Haha true. the 17" is huge and heavier. But for me my primary task is gaming and the bugger the better. Currently I dont plan on getting an external monitor hence the bigger version. Also just 50$ and you get a bigger screen and the option to upgrade to 2 HDD's was too tempting to let go.

Re: Sager NP9150 or NP9170
I would get it with the Sager logo. It does add up (only a bit but worth considering) in case you decide to sell the laptop after a few yrs. A logo definitely makes an impression and the buyer would definitely like to see one unless he is updated with laptops and resellers and knows that there are resellers that sell without the logo. In my opinion its free. So why leave it just in case I might need it? Also the laptop does not look so bad with it. So I would keep the logo.
And Good luck on your purchase
