Cant decide between Asus N56 and Sager 9130/P151
I cant for the life of me decide between the two. I priced out the two on Xotic PC and they both come out to roughly the same price, the ASUS more if I opt for the 95% gamut screen. I've bolded the specs that end up being different on the two. I'll be using it mostly for AutoCad, movie watching/music listening, music recording, and probably some light gaming such as Battlefield 3. SOME portability would be nice.
Sager:
Pros: Better graphics card, Better screen for price, probably better customer service experience than Asus, includes firewire port.
Cons: Entirely plastic, smaller touchpad, I'm assuming not as nice sound, heavier, uglier, no backlit keyboard.
Asus:
Pros: Majority of laptop is metal, Looks really nice, better sound (assuming), Better warranty, lighter, not as thick, comes standard with blu ray drive.
Cons: Graphics card, Asus customer service seems to have gone down hill, costs a lot more to get upgraded screen so not as nice screen over all, Xotic seems to be the only distributor doing custom specs to the notebook so limited choice of who to go with, no firewire.

Re: Cant decide between Asus N56 and Sager 9130/P151
I recently placed an order for that exact Sager laptop. I'd say go with it. I have heard stories of ASUS' dying after a year or so. Have only heard good things about Sager. Plus the graphic card on the Sager is miles better.

Id definitely go with Sager. I am not a huge fan of Asus products, also if your going to be playing Battlefield 3, the GTX 670m will make a HUGE difference over the 650m.

Asus laptops are only as good as the warranty, HP's are worse.
