    Default 640m-650m laptops

I really want to wait a month, but my current laptop is utter utter crap and i'm afraid i might lose information if it craps out again. I want a thin laptop that can do light gaming (like WoW or Skyrim on medium), at least a 640m kepler and less than 6 lbs. Here is what I narrowed it down to for modles released right now

    Dell Inspiron 14R SE
    14 inch display, 1366x768
    i7-3612QM
    8 GB DDR3 RAM at 1600mhz
    NVIDIA GeForce GT 640M DDR3 2GB
5.26 lbs, around 1.2 inches thick
    Price around $980

    Intel® Core™ i7-3610QM
    8GB DDR3 system memory
    NVIDIA® GeForce® GT 650M discrete graphics (DDR5 2GB VRAM)
    5.95 lbs, 1.5 inches thick
    Price: $1299 with good config

PROS: fast gpu, screen res CONS: NO backlit keyboard!!, HEAVY and thick!

    Hp dV6 Quad Edition Series
    15.6 inch display, 1920x1080
Ivy bridge quad core, 3 options up to i7-3820qm
    8 GB DDR3 Ram
    NVIDIA(R) GeForce(R) GT 650M Graphics with (1 ow 2GB GDDR5 memory
    5.66 lbs, 1.18 inches thick
    price: $1199 with good config

PROS: 1080, good gpu, cons: not much besides that I don't really like HP too much

Are there any others people can add? I've looked at the Asus n56vz and althought it offers the 650m, its a bulky machine at 6 lbs.

Also i've looked at the Clevo W150ER, its a beast machine, but the sound on the machine will always be subpar because of the speaker location on the bottom of the machine and its even heavier than the Asus!

    any others guys?

I'd go with the MSi, you'll have more user upgradable parts, better BIOS support for OC. What's wrong with backlit KB? You can just turn the light off

As for the weight, man up. 6lbs isn't heavy.

The y480 and y580 should have 650m soon - Check out Lenovo. I am surprised that has not made the list yet. They should be available around June.
