Re: Not Sure.....
Screen upgrade is up to you. It mostly increases viewing angles but matte is available as an upgrade.
Keep the stock 3610 processor.
Upgrade the GPU to 7970M
Downgrade the RAM to 8gb 1333 (no difference between 1333,1600,1866)
For storage, a SSD + HDD combo is the best option. You can choose to do a SSD as primary and a HDD in the optical to get the best performance.mid 2009 MBP 13: 2.26 c2d || 500gb seagate momentus || 4gb 1333 || slappa hardbody pro carbon elektra review

Re: Not Sure.....
Whats the difference between the regular matte screen and the 95% color gamut one? Also, would you recommend that I buy my own hard drive for the optical bay?

Gamut - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Color representation basically.
95% gamut matte vs Glossy There is an old topic with some information
What you could do (and it would be somewhat of a hassle) is this:
Buy stock 750gb HDD and just purchase the optical drive caddy.
Buy aftermarket SSD (128gb Crucial M4 or Samsung 830).
Put SSD in primary slot (SATA 3) and HDD in optical (SATA 2).
Put OS on SSD and profit.
The 520 SSD resellers use uses a Sandforce controller which has some issues and the 520 hasn't been tested that much. Crucial M4 has been below $1/gb lately and reliable and Samsung 830 is reliable and excellent RMA process and support.mid 2009 MBP 13: 2.26 c2d || 500gb seagate momentus || 4gb 1333 || slappa hardbody pro carbon elektra review

Re: Not Sure.....
Drop the ram to 1333mhz to save $50 and get the normal 750gb HDD no reason to get a hybrid if you're getting a SSD.
And yes that SSD will work.mid 2009 MBP 13: 2.26 c2d || 500gb seagate momentus || 4gb 1333 || slappa hardbody pro carbon elektra review
