Both the GPUs are about the same. The larger VRAM on the Acer GPU doesn't improve gaming. You will need to see which laptop is better in terms of ergonomics. The Lenovo keyboard is superior. See what pleases you and go for it. Where are you buying the laptop? If you intend to keep it fixed to the desk, building a desktop would give you better gaming performance at a cheaper price.

The customer support would depend on where you come from. For consumer laptops. the support is basic. Please read the warranties. They are sometimes country specific.
And you simply cannot say that one company makes bad laptops. Just one line of faulty laptops can give a company a bad name. Please try to read as many reviews as possible. Try to find customer feedback.
As I have said in the previous post, you are not going to get any benefit from the larger RAM in the GPU(called VRAM in the previous post).Last edited by idiot101; 4th May 2012 at 07:40 AM.

The graphics card performance is almost the same. More GB in the Acer GPU doesn't mean better performance. Please read my earlier posts. This time I have made it bold for your convenience.
The Lenovo being hardier is just a perception. And it is the business line that gets the praise. You will need to be wary of all consumer lines no matter which company. Stick with the Lenovo if you feel confident in it.Last edited by idiot101; 4th May 2012 at 08:17 AM.

Re: Acer aspire 7750G or lenovo ideapad G770 HELP
I would advise getting an ivy bridge laptop with something like a gt650m or when they are released an amd 7770m. The processor could be a 3610qm or 3612qm.
The 7770m will take similar power consumption fit in a smaller former factor being 28nm and weigh less and perform twice as fast as those cards.
If you compare the 7770m to 7670m it performs 2x better and it takes similar power consumption as it is based on 28nm vs the 7670m 40nm process.
AMD Radeon HD 7770M - Notebookcheck.net Tech
However a gt650m is comparable to a 7770m and is out now I believe and available to buy so I would advise getting the gt650m for now.
