Need good quality build that runs cool
Hi guys,
Need your advice regarding buying a new laptop. I have had my HP Pavillion 3299ea for a year and 2months and the gfx seems to have died. It has been booked in a repair centre, so hopefully it can be fixed but not hoping for any miracles.
The laptop has had heating problems and the switachable graphics between amd and intel was a pain.
I dont want to make the same mistake again in not properly researching before I buy. I did research the dv6 but the only factor was the discrete/switchable graphics and the core i5 processor that swayed my decision.
I bought the laptop for £630.
worst case scenario it cant be fixed, i will have to end up forking out on new one.

Try Acer Aspire 4830TG. I don't think that, with your budget, you can find an i7 processor and a powerful dedicated graphic card .
