Will Ivy-Bridge release drop prices on not high-end laptops?
I understand if you don't want to purchase a high-end laptop, its not worth it waiting to see what Ivy-Bridge setups appear in the market, but what influence will the new processor have on previous models' prices?
In other words, when is the best time to get a medium range laptop (i.e: Intel i3 CPU)? Right now or in a month from now?
Thanks.

Re: Will Ivy-Bridge release drop prices on not high-end laptops?
Back to school shopping time and Christmas always offer the most competitive deals among manufacturers. If you can wait until June, you'll see the pricing competition heat up. If you need a laptop now, buy now, the new Intel release will be for high end processors only and won't affect the mid range market.
