Heck, why not a 15" screen with a 650M, SSD Drive, No CD Drive, small 4-6 cell battery, with an optional 9 cell if someone really wants it. This keeps the weight down while still delivering on performance. With Optimus & IVB, the battery on a 6 cell should last a few hours.
I agree entirely with this, with the addition of a high quality keyboard. 14" and below tend to start skimping on the keyboard quality partly from space I guess.

I have been swinging like a pendulum lately on what to get coming back to the m14x R2 although it creates weight issues. Ah well not long now, I hope there are some nice roundups of all the new releases.

How about the Asus Zenbook Prime?

"Anything is possible" means "nothing is for sure."

Looks like theres a new player in the 11.6" market, and with a 650M 2G DDR5 to boot for only $1k!

It's really incredible how can they put such a hardware in such a small chassis without temperatures problem. Makes me wonder why in the 14,1 and 15,6 versions of hp, asus, our any other company they cannot make the notebooks fresh and better (like put better grafic card for example)

So is the Origin also a mislabeled DDR3? Because DDR5 is quite a big difference...

Which is exactly why it makes no sense that we haven't seen a comparable 13" or 14" machine. Stupid Lenovo.
