I found the envy 4t quite interesting, not to mention the price is great, I have to search a bit more for the 7670m performance

why couldnt they offer the 900p display as an option =(

they have one in the 14" specter so its not like the thing is unavailable.

7670m is a lower end mid class card... but for a thin and light 14" its not bad.

Thanks, but I mean really do some research on the gpu, not notebookcheck, hate that site, it aint that reliable at all.

The res is also a nagging thing with me as well, the folio suffers from the same problem, and sincerely while I do like the black and red design I would grab the folio or the t430u if they came with thunderbolt in a heartbeat.

Im sincerely forgoing the dream of a 13'' with a mid range gpu, the vaio SA might not have changed in terms of build quality and the keyboard, and those were my problems with it.

I also dont have my hopes high for a decent refresh of the timelinex series, or that the lg p330 gets a new brother soon

I thought they were all the same, just different clocks? Anyway if I can't get something with the 650m I like, then the 640m will be fine for my needs.

EDIT: Anyone know what resolution notebookcheck uses for their game benchmarks?

Just put your mouse over the benchmark text low, med, high, and it will tell you the settings. Like this one I hovered over high...

there are 2 versions of the 640m, the kepler one, and the fermi one, the latter is called 640m LE and is based on the old gt 425m/430m/540m/550m/555m, it should be quite a difference in terms of performance, regarding the LE and the kepler one.

The kepler is the same as the 640m/650m/660m and it has its variations regarding the vram used. DDR3 or GDDR5
