At least you can run the game. My current laptop can't run the game at all.

Low on 800x600 isn't much better, honestly.

You can always go the morally not great route of buying a laptop for a month or two and then returning it to the retailers that allow for free returns. I'd feel bad doing it but you could if you really needed to I guess.

There better be something announced soon...

So there are no current 14inch 1600x900 laptops that even run a 640m with ddr5?

EDIT: I know this has already been mentioned, but Asus all but confirmed a summer release by posting the N64VZ on the official Asus campuslife webpage. Link: Announcing the New N Series Notebook | ASUS CampusLife

Interesting that it lists the Y480 as coming with the 650m and the gtx670 but they arent available to purchase yet.

That's been there since they announced the machine back in January. For now, it's all talk.

Nice. Looks very nice. Sounds like 14" will come with 1080p screen too then? Wow. I'm afraid that they'll probably put a GT 640m LE or 635m in that chassis though. If they could manage a GT 640m with GDDR5 that would be minimum imho if you want to consider it for gaming, especially at 1080p.

All prerelease versions have been previewed with 635M. Only the eastern european sites have claimed 650M availability. I remain skeptical.
