The 4810TZ is not business oriented but has an average low voltage dual core (In fact It can be equipped with an SU4100 or a SU9400 too) and a great battery life.
The chicklet style keyboard seems to be not bad (For an acer...)
And the price seems to be attractive.

E4300 is great but is a little too expensive.
    Not less of 300 euro.
    The same for 25030P.

    X200 is really too high.

T400 could be a goog option but i wonder about its weight...

The mentioned Acer is equipped with an intel core 2 duo SU4100

WHat about it if compared with Dell D430 (Su7500) and Hp 25**P ?

Yeah.. CULV systems, Acer 1410/1810/3810/4810, Asus UL20A, MSI U200. They are the ULV 45nm 200Mhz FSB Penryn CPUs.

Dell D430 I wouldn't touch simply because there is no room to move on the ZIF HDD as a storage upgrade. A 2510P can be equipped with a 2.5" SATA SSD/HDD via a caddy inplace of the HDD. So it could be an option for a cheap runaround. CULVs are technically better than a 2510P (2 RAM slots, newer CPU, native 2.5" SATA). It's just that their keyboard, mouse and glossy screens make them nowhere near as usable.

To get the newer tech with the usability offered by a 2510P or even better (webcam, nightlight/backlit keyboard) need to get a 2530P/X200/E4300. Therein lies your budget dilemma. So maybe a CULV is a good compromise?

I'm really about to buy the 4810tz (SU4100) that seem to have a very good battery life.
I've seen it and it is really indistinguishible from a new product.
Of course the keyboard and the plastics are not those of a Lenovo or an Hp business... but however the quality seem to be average.
And the chicklet keyboard is not bad.

Last but not least the price... now I can bought it for 150 euro.

    What do You think ?

Is not it a good choise, considering the quality/price ratio ?

The acer was a too weaky performer so i've reselled it and now i'm about to buy a lenovo T400 equipped with a P8400 cpu.
The performance seems to be average and the battery life is not bad again.

    What about it ?

For 220 euro (Shipped) could it be a "bargain" ?

    thanks

My first options would be Lenovo X200, HP 2530P and Dell E4300 but all these are too expensive for my small budget (max 250 euro) while the mentioned T400 seems to fit well this constraint.

Go the T400. Still a viable machine by todays standards.

Indeed it is, but it is noticably heavier and larger than a X200, 2530P or E4300. Those ultraportables can still deliver great battery life even compared against today's miserly SB machines. Undervolted, they all offer better battery life than their successor 1st gen icore machines (X201, 2540P, E4310).

A T400 did offer some additional features over these ultraportables such as switchable 4500MHD+HD3470 graphics and a 1440x900 LCD option. Though I'd be pretty sure at the OP's pricepoint he'd be getting a iGPU-only T400 with 1280x800 LCD, same as the others.

OP can check my sig to links on how to overclock a 2530P, eg: 2.97Ghz 2530P or 3.16Ghz E4300. There they perform similarly to a 1st gen i3 CPU but with better battery life.
