Clevo 150EM/Sager NP9150 worth it?
I7 2670qm
GTX 675M
No hard drive (have my own SSD)
No OS (got my own copy W7)
8gb 1600mhz ram
Killer n1103
Ic diamond paste
Total will come out to $1490.
First off, is the extra $100 to go from 670m to 675m worth it? I think it is, but maybe I'm wrong.
Second, is this a good buy for the price? I'm looking for 3 years(4 tops) of functionality and mid-high gaming.
I cannot wait for the 680m, but I am waiting for the IVYs

If you can wait for IB, then you can probably wait for the 7970M. That is DEFINITELY worth waiting for.
But yes, the 670M -> 675M is like a 30% increase, and it is a steal. 570M -> 580M (basically the same thing) was like $485.Old laptop: MacBook (Late 2009) Core 2 Duo 2.2 GHz, 2GB DDR3 1066 MHz Ram, GeForce 9400M
Current: (5/30) P150EM, i7-3610QM, 8GB DDR3 1333MHz RAM, AMD 7970M, Matte Screen, 750GB 7200RPM HDD

P150EM w/ 7970M Review!

Well I haven't read anything concrete on the 7970m. It could be July for all I know, and I can't wait that long. April 30th is the absolute latest I can wait.
In terms of the laptop itself I was just making sure the 3610qm (ivy version of 2670) + the 675m will last me 3 years.

Re: Clevo 150EM/Sager NP9150 worth it?
I plan to get the same laptop. Although I was looking at the malibal version (p150em-se), because you get $50 off any order 1500, so I just upgraded to matte screen for 30 to put myself over 1500 and actually spend 20 less for an upgrade.
But I have two questions, is that network card needed? I never owned a laptop so i don't know. But I planned to keep the standard one.
And more importantly, is that version of ivy bridge coming out april 30th for sure? Because I can't wait any longer to order either. Which is why going with a gtx 675m

I'm buying Myth because of their testing/customer service/warranty/customization options. And if you talk to a sales associate they may be able to help you out pricewise.
I've heard that the network card makes such a huge difference that I can't pass it up, and I've talked to at least 5 companies that claim they will ship IB on the 30th

Why not spend an extra $400 and get an ivy bridge with GTX 675M now

I wish I could reduce the price with a 15.6" and no blu ray
