I'm trying to get the most bang for my buck
I'm looking for a gaming laptop, I'm trying to get the most bang for my buck. As you are buying in May, you should probably get better answers during that time when the new GPUs are offered by the custom builders like xoticpc, powernotebooks, gentech, malibal, etc. All the GPUs will be definitely replaced with the newer generation pretty soon.

Re: I'm trying to get the most bang for my buck
There were too many rumors flying around. Intel has come out and said it is a 3 week delay in the worst case and does not affect the bulk of the processors, only certain SKUs like the ULVs. But that is of no concern as the GPU is more important in gaming. The IB has modest gains over SB in terms of CPU power, so SB should do in the gaming laptop. It is the GPU transition that you need to wait for. All I can say is that it will be soon. The GT640m based on Kepler was shown today so.....

Re: I'm trying to get the most bang for my buck
Is there any sites like Engadget that keeps up with just hardware news?
I know this forum has threads on this topic but I was hoping for something I check up on and just do a quick read like I can on Engadget. Forums are great when you want to get in to depth on a topic, but it can take a lot of time to read each thread just to find out basic info. Thanks Again for the help so far.
