Re: need a gaming laptop for 1300 or less
For serious gaming in a 1300$ budget I ed suggest you to pick the 6970m from Malibal in the Lotus P151HM1 as it is the best GPU you can grab for that budget right now.
Lotus P151HM1 - MALIBAL
The Force is also a gr8 deal considering it has future upgradable options to put in a SSD an have a secondary HDD. Also the 570m is not that bad a GPU. It is certainly better than the GTX 560m but not as good as a AMD6970m but still petty good to consider for your budget.
The Lotus on the other hand does not have 2 HDD bays. To add in another drive you will have to remove the DVD bay.
No matter what laptop you choose I ed advice you pick up a i7 quad core say the 2670QM. Anything more is not gonna help in gaming much but goin in to the lesser models say the i5 dual core will impact your performance in core-sensitive games like BF3.
But the main thing I have to say now is that the new line of GPU are coming out probably in April and also all the resellers like Malibal, Powernotebooks, Gentechpc etc will be updating their site with the new specs for their Sager/Clevo laptops. I ed advice you to wait till April as you might see price slashes after April and also your options will be increased.
But again if you are in a hurry u can def pick up a Lotus or Force and I am sure you will have no problems with any of it.XOTIC PC - SAGER NP9170
