    MSI GE

Could you give us some alternative; this website have laptops with yesterdays technology.

Could you also add the price of your country(P 44 000) so that we know the prices without looking it. Thanks

    Regards

    Ex-Laptop: HP Pavilion tx2690eo

    Current Laptop: Samsung RC730 SO4

Actually that's one of the problems with retail stores in our country, they sell last year's computers with today's prices lol.

@OP: is it specifically have to be with villman? there are other and better options in buying laptops in the philippines.

    like buying from a non retail reseller like TipidPC.com | HP Pavilion dv7-6179us 17in i5-2430M 6GB 750GB AMD 6490M 1GB Bluray Win7

or directly buying from a U.S. website to be shipped locally by a cargo forwarder which is what some of us here do. warranty would depend on the brand of the laptop like Dell, Asus and MSI would have international warranty.

    something like this Newegg.com - HP dv6-6180us Notebook Intel Core i7 2670QM(2.20GHz) 15.6" 6GB Memory DDR3 750GB HDD 5400rpm DVD Super Multi AMD Radeon HD 6770M
would cost about 42-45k shipped already as opposed to a lower specced and more expensive HP Pavilion DV6-6157TX Core i5-2430M 2.4GHz,15.6 | VillMan Computers

    SAGER - NP8170
    17.3" Full HD 1080P LED-Backlit | AMD Radeon HD 6990M with 2GB GDDR5 DX11 | Intel® Core™ i7-2760QM (6M Cache, 2.40 GHz) | 16GB DDR3 1333 (4x4GB) | 120GB Intel® 510 Series SATA 6.0GB/s SSD | 750GB 7200rpm SATA 300 Hard Disk Drive

Bingo! I was looking at NewEgg and Villman. I almost thought I was stuck with Villman or Ebay.ph or the like to order my laptop, although New Egg has a much better computers for 30,000 PHP less than what they are selling for here. I was going to add $244.00 for Fed Ex S/H.

You just said the magic words, cargo forwarder. I've not a clue how this works and don't know where to start. I assume it's cheaper than the $244.00 that Federal Express charges to ship?

What do I need to know about cargo forwarders and do you have any suggestions as to which one is reputable, reliable and cheap?

I want to buy a laptop!

Newegg.com - Computer Parts, PC Components, Laptop Computers, LED LCD TV, Digital Cameras and more!

These same computers are either not available here in the RP or priced insanely over 100k PHP

What can I expect my S/H to be through a cargo forwarder?

    Thank you GEEKY!

P.S. I just joined www.tipidpc.com as suggested. How does this fare? Can you pay for an item to simply not receive it? I'm skeptical buying from strangers without 100% pos feedback or just plain scared of getting ripped off! Thanks!

I would like to know as well. I live in the Philippines and have been putting off getting a laptop due to the unappealing price : performance ratio of the machines locally available. I'd rather buy from an online US store like Newegg or Amazon for better specs, but I don't know how they ship orders here and how much they charge.
