The Adobe suite is designed to take advantage of their CUDA cores for certain tasks. I'm not very well versed on the topic, but from what I understand, they can significantly reduce rendering time as well as enhance (and possibly unlock) certain features during the editing process.
just premier with the Mercury rendering engine is a big help, even then you want a quadro over a gforce card IMO.
