Lenovo- problems with shipping times?

Hi,

I’m a college student and am thinking about buying a lenovo thinkpad t60. I have heard some horror stories about the ship dates from lenovo, with people waiting as much as 3 months to get their computers from them. I was just wondering if this is the normal situation with lenovo or if this is a rare instance?

I ordered a T60 at buy.com on 21 of June and received it on 23 of June and that is with the free shipping.

Got mine in a week from Lenovo.com. I think it all depends on the system you buy. T60 systems have a better availability currently then the newer Z61 and R60 systems from what I've heard.
