Default Wait for Ivy Bridge & Lightpeak or not?

I was wondering if anybody has any opinions about whether or not to wait for the Ivy Bridge line of processors, or will not not be too much of a difference from Sandy Bridge manufacturing size aside.

Also, this is just pure speculation at this point I guess, but what are your opinions about Lightbridge? Do you think it will be successful and just do away with USB. I don't want to buy a laptop now and have Lightbridge come a year down the line and pretty much make my laptop's usb ports useless =/

    Thanks

Rumors I heard that Intel will start supporting USB 3.0 Natively on the Ivy Bridge platform. I think Intel is going still support USB 3.0 in the meantime and implement Lightpeak some point co-existing with USB 3.0/
