Re: Need gaming laptop under Rs. 50k
No. Simply overclocking a card does not void its warranty. Only when you tamper with it physically- like a voltmod for instance, does the issue of void warranty arises.
Legally, clocking it to any frequency other than the stock ones will void the warranty. But are they ever going to find out? Definitely not unless you kill it with voltage or you BIOS flashed your card or something.
So, you will void the warranty but they can't tell- there's no evidence of it anyway..., so it will still really be under warranty .
Anyway, the 5650/5730 fortunately has great OC-ing potential... One has to be really dumb to bust that thing with overclocking.... Know the safe limits and then try it out...Sony Vaio EA36FG | Glossy Black | i5-560M@2.66 Ghz | 4 GB DDR3 RAM | ATI 5650 OC | 500 GB HDD | 14" 1366x768 LED Backlit Display | Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit

Re: Need gaming laptop under Rs. 50k
It does support DX 11, But not all features can be enjoyed.. get it?? "Upcoming and current DirectX 11 games (like DIRT2) may not run in full detail settings. That means some of the new DirectX 11 features (Tesselation e.g.) may not run fluently on this gaming graphics adapter."
Thats' what the link you gave says.. :P
N dats y I used the word "Native" and "might not" when I mentioned HD 5730 and HD 5650. Only 5xxx series from 5730 and above supports all DX 11 features... So there you go guys...
