dell studio 15 looks the most appealing to me right now though the asus g73 is pretty appealing too... though are there any other suggestions? Thanks for the help by the way!!!

+1 for the Asus G73 or MSI GX640. If you're serious about gaming, you want an ATI 58XX. As others have said, nVidia just can't compete ATM.
