    Us which top of the line GAMING laptop

    General Questions

    1) What is your budget? $4,000 a little more if needed

    2) What size notebook would you prefer?

    4) Are there any brands that you prefer or any you really don't like?

    the only gaming laptop brand i know is alienware but im up for any killer rig brand name doesn't matter

    5) What tasks will you be performing with the notebook?

    Gaming, internet browsing, ... oh and Gaming

    6) Will you be taking the notebook with you to different places or leaving it on your desk?

    7) Will you be playing games on it; if so, which games?

    crysis, battlefields, fallout3, deadspace, supreme commander, basically FPS(single and multi), RPG(not mmorpg), RTS

    8) How many hours of battery life do you need?

    about a hour maybe im gonna be plugged into a wall most of the time (17" have horrible battery life most the time)

    9) Do you mind buying online without seeing the notebook in person?

    buying online is fine

    10) What OS do you prefer? Windows (XP or Vista), Mac OS, Linux, etc.

    Yes but no, the Components of the notebook are whats gonna make me buy and sell and if its pretty at the same time thats good too but ill take a flaming pink laptop with top of the line items over the custom lid of my fav game with inside it.

    14) When are you buying this laptop and how long do you want this laptop to last?

    in a few weeks, and i want it to last threw iraq with me so at least a year

    15) How much hard drive space do you want; 40GB to 500GB?

    160-300 with only games i dont need a crazy 1tb HD

    16) Do you need an optical drive? If yes, a CDRW/DVD-ROM, DVD Burner or Blu-Ray drive?

    yes, i would like a Blu-ray player i watch alot of movies and want this notebook to be my main entertainment player


    -to sum it up i want a top of the line notebook 17" $4,000 grand budget (i can do a few hundred more but thats what im aiming for)
    glossy screen and blue ray player to play the latest games well and excellent movie quality player

    clevo D900C... end of story

    ....especially if u like the idea of the quad processor, and the speed of the extreme processor

    Check out the Odachi or Nagamaki at Killernotebooks.

    For a cheaper version, check out Xoticpc, powernotebooks, sagernotebooks, lynnbay, prostar for the Clevo D90XC (Odachi) or Arima 840DI/Nagamaki (only available at xoticpc). The last three are willing to pricematch.
