Re: Samsung X360 vs. New MBA vs. VooDoo Envy 133
Won't be any problem for 1.4 C2D + X4500.

Re: Samsung X360 vs. New MBA vs. VooDoo Envy 133
Hmmm, shouldn't be. The Intel x4500 in the Samsung is supposed to be able to handle high-def video. (I don't have one, so I can't try it out personally.) I would expect the CPU to be enough for that too.
With no gaming and the tasks you described, you should be alright. The 1.8" hard drives in all of these systems are a little slow though, so things will load a little more slowly than on a laptop with a 2.5" drive. Getting the SSD will solve that, but it's expensive.

Will prolly go with the 128 ssd for lightest weight possible.
In wondering though, how long can a laptop like these last? Given that I don't use it more than 5 hrs a day. Should I get extended warranty?

Depends on the price. I rate Samsung's build quality to be average, so it would be a good idea.
Especially when you're on the road a lot it increases the likelihood of needing warranty.
